January 21, 2020

A senior resident of The Retreat at Sunny Vista was recently recognized in The Gazette. The article highlights his work with the FBI, and life in Mississippi battling the KKK.  He traveled to Mississippi in 1964 during the height of the struggle for equality in the south. As an FBI agent, he was sent to impose justice. His story also includes hearing Martin Luther King Jr. preach love and peaceful protest in front of the courthouse in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
